Taskly respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from), use our software as either a customer or practitioner user or interact with us on social media and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
This privacy notice aims to give you information on how Taskly collects and processes your personal data through your use of this web application service as either a customer user or a home services professional user, including any data you may provide through this website when you request or perform a Service, register and use our service, sign up to our newsletter or email subscription, register to attend one of our events, interact with us on social media or take part in a competition or survey. This service is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them. If you are a home services professional, we will also provide to you a copy of our staff and contractor privacy notice.
Taskly is the controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice).

THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:
- Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier, title and gender.
- Contact Data includes addresses at which you want the Service to take place, email address, and telephone numbers.

- Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you as either a customer user or home services professionals user, and as a customer user other details of services or products you have purchased from us or the home service professionals.
- Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type, and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this service.
- Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you or fulfilled by you for customer users, your interests, preferences, social media interaction, feedback, and survey responses.
- Usage Data includes information about how you use our website and services and as home services professionals about how you perform services for your customer user clients.
- Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and communication preferences.
We also collect, use, and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.
IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

- To process and deliver your order or allow you to deliver your service to your customer, including: (a) Allocating the correct practitioner to provide the Service to you as the customer and introducing you to your customer user client as the home services professional (b) Allowing the home services professional to attend your premises (c) Allowing a home services professional to determine the best way to provide any Service to customers or which products are most suitable for customer users (d) Manage payments, fees and charges (e) Collect and recover money owed to us/or the home services professionals and/or customer users (such as for a refund)
- To manage our relationship with you which will include: (a) Notifying you about changes to our terms or privacy policy (b) Asking you to leave a review or take a survey
- To enable you to partake in a prize draw, competition or complete a survey
- To administer and protect our business and this website (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting, and hosting of data)
- To deliver relevant website and mobile application content and advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve to you

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive.

This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one week. Your request and choices may be limited in certain cases: for example, if you ask to delete information which we are required by law to keep.
Where you have asked us to share data with third parties, for example, by installing third-party apps, you will need to contact those third-party service providers directly to have your information deleted or otherwise restricted.
